Lunch

At lunchtime all the children eat in the hall and have either a hot school meal provided by Chartwells (website: West Sussex | Chartwells) which are ordered by parents (via ParentPay) or a home packed lunch. Water is available for the children, but home packed lunch children may bring a drink in a plastic bottle or carton. Please note that the school is a nut free zone – we ask that you do not put nuts, nut bars or sandwich fillings into your child’s lunches because we have children with severe nut allergies.

We are registered as a Healthy School and every child is given a water bottle from which they are able to drink during the day. These bottles are kept in school during the week and taken home at weekends for a thorough wash. The children are able to fill them from a specially cooled water supply in school.

 

 How to order Chartwells hot lunches:

Log on at www.parentpay.com to choose and book your meals. Orders need to be placed by midnight Thursday, ten days ahead of the week required. For example, meals for the week starting Monday 12th would have an order deadline of Thursday 1st.

You will have received an activation letter and temporary password to set up your ParentPay account. If you need this resent, please contact your school office.
