Welcome Back to an exciting year ahead

6th September 2021

The Team at Lavant C.E. Primary School are delighted to be back together and are looking forward to an exciting, fun-filled (and hopefully more normal) school year ahead. The teachers have, as always, been working really hard over the summer to make sure that the children have memorable learning experiences over the year.

As school life is returning to more normal times it is so lovely to see all the children playing together again at play times, with many of our older children delighted to welcome their younger siblings to school.

We have been able to re-launch our daily breakfast club and many of our usual enrichment activities are now able to resume once again.   Children in year one will be having weekly forest schools session at Lavant house this half term, our children in years 3 and 4 are all looking forward to learning the ukulele and all the children in Key Stage two are preparing for their weekly swimming sessions at Westgate Leisure Centre to resume after an eighteen month break.

We are currently working with West Sussex highways to improve parking facilities and crossing points outside the school entrance, and really value your cooperation in driving safely as you pass our school at the start and end of the school day.

As always, we thank the Lavant community for your support and encouragement of all we do to enrich the lives of the children at our school.
