All Sorts

10th February 2023
This term our Reception Wrens have been busy having a sort out. We looked at the book All Sorts by Pippa Goodhart. The children looked at categorising in different ways and then in more scientific ways by looking at the properties of materials, sorting animal types by designing their own zoos and they created a sorted piece of art work using photography. Here are some of our art photos.

Our Year One Wrens have been busy making progress with saving the planet and have learned about recycling and reusing what we have. They created some amazing infographics, researched alternatives to plastic and thought about small changes they could make in order to help the planet. Did you know that a plastic toothbrush can take 1000 years to break down? But in fact plastic only breaks into small pieces and it never goes away.
