Tangmere Aviation Centre

22nd February 2018
On 2nd February Pheasant class went on an amazing trip to Tangmere Aviation Centre, as part of their most recent learning journey on World War 2: West Sussex at War. Learning about how the war affected our local area, the children were enthralled by the many tales of key historical figures who were stationed or lived at Tangmere. As always, Pheasant class were a credit to our school, behaving and learning well all day. The class are now using some of the information they learned over the course of the day to write historical narrative stories about Douglas Bader, a famous RAF pilot stationed at Tangmere air base. We can't wait to read their amazing stories.
